Other uses

As well as being great for testing your cutting skills, our tatami omote has many other uses. They are commonly made into floor mats, coasters, table placemats and I've even seen them used as a wall hanging backdrops  pictures. Their use is only limited by your arts and craft imagination. Please note that if you use them as a floor mat on a smooth surface, they can be extremely slippery. It would be best to apply some sort of non-slip backing before use.
